The Ortovox Westalpen Swisswool Jacket for women is an insulation jacket filled with sustainable wool, which represents an excellent compromise between down and synthetic insulation. The filling is much warmer than synthetic fiber and, unlike down, can get wet from time to time. The PERTEX® QUANTUM outer fabric is windproof and water-repellent and particularly abrasion-resistant. It is therefore ideal for high-alpine use with a backpack. The storm hood reliably protects against wind and cold thanks to the high collar, while the Swisswool lining ensures a balanced feeling of warmth. The jacket is very light and compressible and can be used both as a warm midlayer and as a windbreaker on the outside. The 2-way zipper allows you to wear a climbing harness and the HIGH REACH FIT with longer sleeves and a long torso give optimal freedom of movement, even when reaching up with a backpack. The Westalpen Swisswool Jacket is not only light and warm, it also regulates body temperature during strenuous exercise. Sweating does not lead to cooling because wool still provides excellent warmth even when it is damp.
