The Aclima Hotwool Light Jacket is a technical Merino midlayer with a full zip and a lightly terry-woven interior. The Merino jacket, developed in Norway, is designed to meet the highest standards of breathability and an excellent weight-to-warmth ratio. The fine-mesh terry structure on the inside forms a larger surface than on the outside, which means that sweat is drawn out more quickly (capillary effect). At the same time, the air cushions bound in the gaps between the stitches provide warmth when it is needed. The precisely shaped thumb loops keep the sleeves in position. The ribbed knit outer fabric is exceptionally robust for a Merino jacket and is therefore also suitable for direct backpack contact. The quality of the fabric is impressive and we particularly recommend it. The Hotwool Light Jacket is ideal for anyone who wants to get maximum heat efficiency with a high level of breathability with little material weight and is particularly suitable as a second layer for trekking, mountaineering and ski touring.
