The Icebreaker Hike+ Medium Crew for women are medium-thick hiking socks for colder days and offer excellent comfort even on long hikes. These medium-thick padded socks have an anatomically shaped toe for a perfect fit and external reinforcements for more durability and support in the Achilles and instep area. Merino socks ensure a dry feeling, especially when used with waterproof hiking boots, as the wool can absorb a lot of moisture. The skin is less softened as a result and is therefore much better protected against blisters! This property is particularly important because the membrane pores of waterproof shoes quickly become clogged because shoes cannot be washed like membrane clothing to clear the pores again.
