Swisswool Piz Vial Jacket Men
This super-light Ortovox jacket for men with Swisswool filling is the efficient thermal layer for ski touring, mountaineering and other winter sports, which, unlike down, does not lose heat even when wet. The Ortovox Piz Vial Jacket is a warmer and, above all, more sustainable alternative to synthetic fiber insulation jackets. The Swisswool padding is biodegradable and offers a more natural and balanced temperature sensation than synthetic insulation. Due to its lightness and small pack volume, this wool insulation jacket is not only perfect for outdoor use, but also as a transitional jacket for leisure time. In alpine use, it can serve as a highly breathable windbreaker on ascents or as a warming middle layer under a hardshell jacket.
The wool comes from certified sheep farming in the Swiss Alps. With its Swisswool jackets, Munich-based manufacturer Ortovox offers an all-round sustainable product with superior functionality and versatility in its application area.
The high-quality outer fabric PERTEX® Quantum Diamond Fuse made from recycled polyamide ensures that the insulation jacket is reliably windproof and snow-repellent. In addition, the thin material is extremely abrasion-resistant and does not chafe under the backpack.
