Ulvang is based in the well-known Norwegian winter sports resort of Lillehammer and was founded in 1995 by the well-known Norwegian cross-country athlete Vegard Ulvang. Norwegians have always valued wool as the most versatile and reliable material in harsh winter conditions. Under the slogan "We are wool", Ulvang develops underwear made from 100% merino wool, as well as Norwegian wool sweaters made from 100% virgin wool. All wool processed by Ulvang is non-mulesing certified and all suppliers and production partners are contractually obliged to comply with the highest labor and environmental standards.
