This Merino functional top from Ortovox has been specially developed for mountaineering in summer. The cutouts on the back and shoulders are positioned so that there are no pressure points from the backpack. Flat seams also prevent chafing and the highly breathable material combination of Merino wool and Tencel® promises quick drying without the strong evaporative cooling that comes with synthetic fibers. The ultra-thin material (120g/m² material weight) is reinforced by a polyamide frame that is woven around the natural fibers. Thanks to the antibacterial properties of the Merino-Tencel® combination, there is no odor development even after heavy sweating.
