The Icebreaker Hike+ Medium Crew for men are medium-thick hiking socks for cooler days and offer excellent comfort even on long hikes. These medium-thick padded socks have an anatomically shaped toe for a perfect fit, as well as external reinforcements for more durability and support in the Achilles and instep area. Merino socks ensure a dry feeling, especially when used in waterproof hiking boots, as the wool can absorb a lot of moisture. The skin, which is less softened as a result, is therefore much better protected against blisters. This property is particularly important because the membrane pores of waterproof shoes quickly become clogged because shoes cannot be washed in the washing machine to clear the pores again.
