Merino bamboo shirts - designed in the Bavarian Alps
Pally'Hi stands for fashionable functional shirts made from an incredibly soft blend of merino wool and viscose (from bamboo cellulose).
Pally'Hi was founded in 2013 by snowboard legend Peter Bauer from Schliersee, Bavaria, with the intention of offering functional yet stylish merino sportswear that is great for skiing and hiking, as well as offering a casual look as everyday streetwear.
The entire Pally'Hi collection has been awarded the OEKO-TEX®Standard100 . The merino wool is also certified by the AWTA® (Australian Wool Testing Authority), which monitors the sheep farms for species-appropriate and mulesing-free husbandry and issues a "Certificate of Origin" (to track which farm the wool comes from and when it was sheared). The bamboo is processed as cellulose into a silky-soft and cooling viscose fiber and makes the Pally'Hi shirts more robust and, thanks to the additional cooling effect, also ideal for sweaty sports.
Unlike cotton, bamboo does not require pesticides, fertilizers or irrigation in its raw material production and grows back extremely quickly, almost like a weed.
The ecological footprint of Pally'hi clothing is therefore as small as possible not only during production, but also after application, as the material is 99% biodegradable and does not release any microplastics .
