This extremely warm merino top for women is double-sided and can be turned to a smooth or a ribbed side depending on the temperature and activity level. With a fabric thickness of 400g/m², the Aclima Streamwool Crewneck clearly belongs in the "extreme weather conditions" category. As a thick first layer, it acts as a "parking heater" so to speak and is not only suitable for winter sports in double-digit minus temperatures, but is also the first choice for professional use outdoors, as it provides excellent heat retention even when inactive for a while.
The ribbed side worn inwards provides additional warming air cushions and is recommended in this direction to achieve maximum heat efficiency. During greater physical exertion, however, the ribbed side is turned outwards to create a larger surface area and thus a suction effect for sweat to the outside (capillary effect). A thinner insert under the armpits protects against the feeling of overheating.
Aclima underwear is inspired by the harsh Norwegian winters. In Norway, people know that compromising on equipment is not a good idea and have always appreciated the advantages of wool. The latest spinning technology and Scandinavian know-how, which is implemented in our own textile factory, create an outstanding product quality.
